For more than 34 years, The Arc of the Emerald Coast has provided advocacy, support, and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization hosted a spring fundraiser at Jake and Henry’s in downtown Fort Walton Beach on June 13.

At Jake and Henry’s, guests brought their “hattitude” for a stylish brunch celebrating individuality, creativity, and community. Elegant hats of every shape, color, and design helped transform the fundraiser into a vibrant celebration of self-expression. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails, live music by Mo D’Vyne, and brunch while supporting The Arc’s mission.

“We wanted to create this unique experience as a way to celebrate the individuality, creativity, and style of the children and adults we serve every day with intellectual and developmental disabilities, because one size never fits all,” said Matt Simpson of The Arc of the Emerald Coast. “Each person we serve is unique, colorful, and beautiful, just like the hats in this room. We are honored to share their stories of resilience, determination, and spirit with our community. Just as hats come in every shape, color, and size, The Arc of the Emerald Coast has proudly served individuals with disabilities for more than 34 years.”
