Throughout the year The Village of Baytowne Wharf hosts a hosts a variety of events, however, each spring the village invites guests to “give ‘em something to taco about,” said Alan Meyers, Executive Director, The Village of Baytowne Wharf, as the annual Tequila and Taco Fest returns to the Emerald Coast. For adults 21 and older, the festival features dozens of tequila tastings, while younger guests enjoy attractions including the Adventure Zone, Baytowne Carousel, and Adventure Land Playground. Add live music, dancing, and unlimited tacos, and the result is a fiesta callejera filled with energy and flavor.
“We are excited to host the 13th Annual Tequila and Taco Festival,” said Alan. “Couple an amazing event with an amazing venue, and you have nothing like it on the Emerald Coast. With the top restaurants competing for the coveted Best Taco Award as well as Best Margarita, you are certainly going to see an array of different flavors and recipes. From the pre-party at Hotel Effie Sandestin’s Ara Rooftop Pool and Lounge to the Best Dressed and Macho Nacho contests, the festival blends coastal charm with spirited competition. Benefiting Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, Tequila and Taco Fest once again proves time and again to be one of the Emerald Coast’s most flavorful spring traditions.
