Caddyshack is the pinnacle sports comedy film and it’s the perfect name for a golf tournament. It was a day of golf and fun at the 30th Annual Caddyshack Classic Golf Tournament! Emerald Bay Golf Club completed a multi-million dollar course renovation in 2014 and provided the perfect venue for the tournament. The day kicked off at noon as golfers practiced their swings and warmed up for the tournament. The teams lined up in their golf carts for the exciting shotgun start at 1pm.
Golfers took a break from putting to sit down for a delicious lunch provided by Jim ‘n Nick’s. To quench their thirst from the hot Florida sun, participants enjoyed refreshing beverages from local distributors, including Tito’s Handmade Vodka specialty cocktails. Teams gathered for post round snacks and an awards ceremony in the Emerald Bay clubhouse. The Annual Caddyshack Classic Golf Tournament is just one event of the fundraising efforts for the Harbor Docks 21st Annual Take-A-Kid Fishing Day. Harbor Docks works tirelessly all year to plan the Harbor Docks Summer Open King Mackerel Tournament, the Annual Charity Auction, and the Annual Caddyshack Golf Tournament to raise money for the incredible Take-A-Kid Fishing Day, where local children fulfill their dreams of becoming anglers!
